We all know I love a slogan tee, so when Johanna Rossi at Raising Women asked me if I would like to collaborate on a Limited Edition ‘charitee’ to celebrate International Women’s Day, I didn’t hesitate to say yes.
Johanna and I share a common belief, that as women and mothers we are stronger when we work together and support one another, so to be given the opportunity to join forces and send out that message, as well as raise money for a charity, is something I’m incredibly grateful for.
The sisterhood I have experienced on Instagram has been beyond anything I could have imagined and I have been blown away by the army of women/mothers out there supporting and lifting each other (and me) up. My friendship with Johanna is a shining example of the genuine connections I have made with some amazing women, women who I may never have come into contact with otherwise.
Johanna gave me the honour of choosing the charity and it’s something I put a lot of thought, time and research into. As a Personal Stylist I believe every woman deserves to look and feel her best no matter what, so when I came across the work that Look Good Feel Better do, it resonated with me immediately. Look Good Feel Better is the only international cancer support charity, providing practical and effective free services for women and teenagers struggling with the visible side effects of cancer treatment.
Look Good Feel Better is dedicated to improving the wellbeing and self-confidence of people undergoing treatment for any type of cancer. Many beneficiaries say that LGFB helped them regain a sense of control and normality at a time when diagnosis and treatment had taken over their lives.
£5 from every charitee sold will be donated to Look Good Feel Better. £5 provides a Confidence Kit to someone who seeks support at home, or £25 provides brushes, mirrors and cleansing products at LGFB workshops & Masterclasses and £50 puts the smile back on the face of one of LGFB beneficiaries at a Workshop.
To order your Limited Edition charitee and show support for your SISTAS all over the world by saying we are “Stronger Together” click here, because the one thing I’ve learnt is that despite all our different backgrounds and circumstances we’re all in it together.
