LADY IN RED

I love a leather skirt. I’ve got a selection – faux and real, new and vintage, pencil and a-line. They are mostly black (with a taupe, stone and burgundy one thrown in for good measure),  but after seeing Diletta Bonaiuti rocking this JW Anderson skirt I had to go on the hunt for a red one.

Of course I would love the JW Anderson  one, but after a bit of searching I was lucky enough to find this vintage one on Asos Marketplace. It was only £35 and when it arrived, it was in perfect condition and fitted like a glove.

I’ve not had a chance to wear it yet, as I’ve been waiting to rock it with bare legs and a tan (and with the current weather it doesn’t look like that will be happening any time soon). When I do wear it, I’ll be keeping it simple with a t-shirt and ankle boots as I’ve styled here.

A red leather skirt is definitely a statement piece, but you can still wear it in an understated way and if you fancy giving one a try, then take a look at this faux leather Zara one.
